This shepherd saddle,vaquera , is very comfortable for rider and horse .Fitted with a removable sheepskin saddleseat. Used to ride the whole day. The saddle is very flexible, because the wooden pommel and cantle are connected with leather , strengthened with leatherstripes, sometimes straw or reed is used. Bottemside ,cushions of the saddle are stuffed with wool, sometimes hair and covered with linen. The advantage of linen is that it is breathable and will not slide that easy.
