Kirstin Uhlenbrock

I got dragged into horses at the age of six by my best friend who had suffered a serious riding accident when spending a holiday at a pony farm. Her and my mum decided that I would have to join her for the next one and I was not keen to start engaging in a girly thing. However I went. At the age of thirteen my dad bought me my first horse a three and a half year old Arab gelding, who served me well and was an absolute child's pony. He is thirty now and still around though not with me. My lifetime love of horses has a name and is my 25 year old Trakehner stallion Mirko (see below). I bought him when I was eighteen and I am still learning from him though he has done all I am capable of jumping, dressage, cross country, driving and last but certainly not least all the leisure riding!!!
